Regions Bank announced a program to help customers with financial education and confidence, which will begin in April with free Next Step seminars and personalized guidance through Regions’ Greenprint, according to a press release.

The bank will celebrate Financial Literacy Month in April with webinars through the Next Steps program, entitled “How to be confident with money.” Greenprint meanwhile creates a free plan for customers to meet financial goals. Regions will host Greenprint plan events in Hixson, Tennessee and Katy, Texas.

“At Regions, we believe everyone should have a chance to build their financial confidence through a personalized plan, sound advice, and support along the way,” Kate Danella, head of Regions’ consumer banking group, said in the release. “That’s our commitment, and it’s why we’re providing even more resources and new financial wellness opportunities starting in April’s Financial Literacy Month.”

“Our role as a bank is about so much more than simply opening accounts or processing transactions,” Danella said. “It’s about using experience, insights, empathy and actionable ideas to help people build greater financial confidence and ultimately financial security.”
