Demonstrators across all 50 states are participating in the 50501 Movement, a nationwide protest against the policies and executive orders of President Donald Trump.
The movement, also known as “50 states, 50 protests, one day,” has gained traction through social media and grassroots organizing, with marches planned at state capitols nationwide.
On Feb. 17, Presidents Day, the 50501 Movement will partner with Political Revolution (pol-rev.com) to protest at city halls, state capitols, and major cities under the banner “Not My President’s Day.”
Protest organizers, who have also dubbed the marches “No Kings Day” or “America Has No King,” describe the push as a response to “the anti-democratic and illegal actions of the Trump administration and its plutocratic allies.”
