True Religion’s 21st Birthday Shutdown Our Neu York Pop-Up (Literally)

To be a cultural cornerstone, you have to be, well, for the culture, and few brands embody this more than True Religion.

In the 21 years since its founding, the iconic global lifestyle apparel and accessories brand has leaned into the challenge of living up to the expectations of its namesake, going against the grain to embrace a distinctive identity. Offering a unique style and a special aura, True Religion stands tall as one of the most impactful brands of the last two decades, influencing a whole generation in the process. 

First bursting onto the Los Angeles denim scene in 2002, True Religion chose to move differently from the start. Constructing its own sewing machines to properly craft the now famous five-pocket jean silhouette, the classic brand maintained a clear awareness of what it wanted to accomplish, molding the world around its vision when necessary. 

To celebrate the consistent authenticity of True Religion, we threw a proper 21st birthday blowout, celebrating the seminal brand in the middle of all the NYFW festivities. 

Hosted at our Neu York pop-up on 21 Greene St. in the heart of SoHo, we invited a myriad of friends and admirers of the brand pulled up to show love for the truest of them all.  

Everyone from Fivio Foreign and Dave East to True Religion CEO Michael Buckley and Quavo, who arrived in a statement look fit for the occasion, showed out for the unforgettable event. With a unique denim-inspired art installation created by visual artist Utopia, a special True Religion-themed mix curated by DJ Whoo Kid, and a custom birthday cake designed by BAD TASTE, guests were immersed in the world of the seminal brand, enjoying a night filled with everything involving the horseshoe logo.
