PUMA X Noah’s Second Drop Takes us Back into a Nudist Reality

by Highsnobiety

PUMA and Noah are back for round two of their collab and they’re transporting us to their topsy-turvy, nudist reality once again.

Launched in June, their first campaign stripped away clothing ad conventions by taking us into a world where being nude is the norm—you don’t see a single item of clothing in the first 10 seconds of the campaign film. The setting is a tennis match, which is infiltrated by a clothed “streaker,” causing shock-horror to unclothed onlookers, players, and even security guards.

For episode two, we’re treated to another risqué scene as two “streakers” dash through a museum fully clothed. The exhibitionists are those exhibiting clothing as the rest of the world saunters around in the buff. Strategically placed statues, bumbags, and brochures leave something to the imagination.

In their previous collaborative collection, PUMA and Noah reintroduced the Star sneaker for the first time. This time around, they’ve selected the Pro Star, a cream-colored court silhouette with vibrant green accents and a gum sole. This classic style will go with everything (or nothing, in this case). Alongside the sneaker, there is a full collection of vintage sportswear apparel. Stand-out pieces include the French Terry hoodie with a quarter-zip and embroidered logos that will fit with pretty much whatever you wear. Another winning piece is the graphic long-sleeve, a go-with-everything piece for fall.

Fashion has a tendency to take itself too seriously, and PUMA x Noah’s light-hearted campaign is a welcome reminder that there’s fun to be had in style. More of this, please.
