Kim Kardashian posted a few outtakes from her recent trip to Paris on Friday, and fans were left baffled by one particularly head-scratching outfit that featured an early-aughts trend no one seems to miss.
“Paris Files,” the Skims founder, 43, captioned a series of throwback photos presumably from last month’s Paris Fashion Week, with one featuring the star wearing layers upon layers of Balenciaga clothing including at least five shirts — including a leopard-printed tank top, black lace camisole and dark gray long-sleeved shirt — and thigh-high black lace socks over white leggings.
She finished the layered look with an oversized Balenciaga tote featuring oodles of charms, including a chain reading (what else?) “Kim” in bedazzled letters.
Fans were quick to leave comments expressing their disdain for the mismatched look.
“5th pictures looks like when you were a kid and use to put everyone on in your wardrobe 😂,” one person said. “Kim what you doin wit all them camis,” another quipped.
A third bemoaned, “Not the layered spaghetti strap tanks again 😫” and a fourth said, “Bringing back the 2000s i see 😵💫.”
While plenty of people compared her to ex-husband Kanye West’s new wife, Bianca Censori — who wore a coquettish pink bow-trimmed camisole with white lace tights while at West’s “Vultures” album listening party in San Francisco earlier this week — others called the outfit “ridiculous.”
“It’s giving 2006 middle school vibes,” someone opined, while another went so far as to call Kardashian the “worst dresser ever.”
