While you might see it being flogged by luxury brands for four-digit prices and even on couture runways, denim has its roots firmly planted in workwear and Carhartt WIP’s honoring that.
As is always the case with Carhartt WIP, its seasonal collections are so huge that it launches mini campaigns throughout the season to focus on certain parts of it. And this time it’s giving attention to denim.
The FW23 season sees the brand expand on its range of classic workwear styles such as carpenter pants, double knee bib overalls, and chore vests that are decked out in heavyweight denim.
Adding extra durability and functionality into the mix, all of the pieces also feature triple stitching and multiple pockets.
Although we’ve only just entered fall, the way the fashion calendar operates means FW23 is well underway and Carhartt WIP is (once again) having a strong one.
So far, it’s brought back its love-heart logo from the archives, given a lesson in layering with its FW23 lookbook, and launched collaborations with the likes of Palace and sacai. But not happy to let things rest there, it keeps on delivering.
