Special Events

Lunch Bunch – Thursday, May 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Take the van or meet us at Stone Ridge Tavern for good food and great company. Transportation is free. Each participant is responsible for their own meal. For more information, please call (828) 350-2051. Harvest House, 205 Kenilworth Road.

Fish Fry – Friday, May 17 from 4-7 p.m. The grease is hot, the buns are toasting, and the fish is frying. Pre-registration required at www.avlREC.com. Tickets: $5. Linwood Crump Shiloh Community Center, 121 Shiloh Road.

Yoga in the Park – Saturday, May 18 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Free gentle flow yoga class. Beginners to lifelong practitioners welcome. Bring your own mat or borrow one of ours.
