‘Vanderpump Rules’ alum Stassi Schroeder reveals why she’s not doing spinoff show ‘The Valley’

by UNN Feed

Stassi Schroeder revealed she won’t appear in the upcoming “Vanderpump Rules” spinoff, titled “The Valley,” because she turned down Bravo’s offer.

“It’s not Bravo’s fault,” Schroeder, 35, told Jeff Lewis during his SiriusXM radio show Wednesday after he expressed disappointment she won’t be filming.

“Once this idea was brought up and they were like, ‘OK, we’re going to film a sizzle with all the people that would be on it’ … every fiber of my being voted no,” she candidly recalled.

A sizzle reel, in this case, would be a short montage of clips to give executives an idea of what the show would look like.

When Lewis asked why she felt so strongly about not appearing on Bravo again, the former Sur server said there were “a lot of different reasons.”

Schroeder continued, “I’m friendly with some of them, I’m acquaintances with some of them.”

“And some of the new ones, too, that I think are lovely. But it’s not my crew.”

When Lewis pointed out that she may become closer to the cast if she filmed with them, Schroeder argued that she doesn’t want to “have to go and do things that [she] normally wouldn’t do.”

She clarified, “I don’t want to disrupt the life that I have right now because I really like my life right now.”

Schroeder was one of the original cast members of “Vanderump Rules” when it premiered in 2013 and she stayed with the hit series for eight seasons.

She and Kristen Doute were fired from the show in 2020 after they reported their castmate Faith Stowers — the only black member on the series — to law enforcement for a crime she did not commit.
