Tracy Morgan says he’s gained weight from taking Ozempic.
When Jimmy Fallon told the comedian that he “look[ed] good” and asked how he was “staying in shape” during a new interview that aired Tuesday night, Morgan credited the weight-loss drug.
However, he noted, “I’ve learned to out-eat Ozempic. I out-ate Ozempic. I’ve gained 40 pounds. I’m like Magic Johnson. I gained 40 pounds.”
The actor’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” update came seven months after he first shared his semaglutide prescription.

“I get up at 7 every morning, and I’m in the gym at 10,” he explained at the time. “Then I go back to sleep. And that’s my life.”
Morgan is not the only comedian to cop to Ozempic use, with Amy Schumer and Chelsea Handler also trying it out.
The drug was “not [a] livable” solution for Schumer, who felt “so sick” she couldn’t play with her son, Gene.
While Schumer, 42, said on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” in June 2023 that she had been “immediately invested” at first, Handler, 49, was prescribed semaglutide unknowingly.
“My anti-aging doctor just hands it out to anybody,”she told “Call Her Daddy” listeners last June. “She said, ‘If you ever want to drop five pounds, this is good.’”
Elsewhere in the interview, she clarified, “I’m not gonna take a diabetic drug. I’m not gonna do that. That’s not right for me.”
