It’s officially over for Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum filed for divorce from the former “Chopped Canada” host on Friday, nine months after initially announcing their split, court documents obtained by show.
Spelling, 50, listed the estranged couple’s date of separation as June 17, 2023, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause.
She is requesting joint legal custody of their five minor children but wants sole physical custody with visitation for McDermott, 57, to be determined at a later date. She also wants him to pay spousal support.
Spelling’s divorce petition has no mention of a prenuptial agreement and states her separate assets have yet to be determined. They also have not determined their “community property.”
Additionally, she wants McDermott to pay her attorneys’ fees.
TMZ was the first to break the news of the pair’s divorce.
The “90210MG” podcast host’s filing comes just three days after she was spotted sobbing in her car following a tense conversation with McDermott at a storage facility. At one point during the heated exchange, Spelling stood by herself and held out her hands to the side in an exasperated manner while appearing to shout at her estranged husband.
Appearing to be fed up with the chat, the “Due South” alum walked away to lean on a chainlink fence to catch his breath.
The emotional encounter occurred after McDermott gushed to about what a “great support” Spelling has been amid their separation and his sobriety.
