“Sister Wives” star Kody Brown and his ex-wife Janelle Brown are devastated following the death of their son Garrison.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” the former couple said on Instagram alongside photos of the late 25-year-old.
“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.”
They concluded, “We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
According to TMZ, Garrison passed away at his Flagstaff, Ariz., home, where he had been living since leaving his parents’ home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
When authorities arrived at his home, Garrison was dead on the scene and the Flagstaff Police Department told the outlet he appeared to have suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Per TMZ, the police do not suspect any foul play and his death is being investigated as a suicide.
In a statement, TLC told us: “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
Since 2010, Garrison has appeared on the TLC series “Sister Wives,” which focuses on the polygamous lifestyle of his dad, Kody, 55.

Garrison’s mom, Janelle, 54, was one of Kody’s wives — along with Christine Brown, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown — until she split from him in 2022 after 32 years together.
The former couple share six together: sons Logan, Hunter, Garrison and Gabriel and daughters Madison and Savanah.
Garrison often documented his life in Arizona on social media.
