Dr. Terry Dubrow is on a break from using Ozempic — for now.
After telling exclusively in January that he decided to stop using the Type 2 diabetes drug to lose weight, the celebrity plastic surgeon confirmed Thursday that he plans to start taking the medication again in the future.
“I’m off it, but I plan on going back on it when it’s appropriate,” he told E! News at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles.
“Like, we have a vacation, and after that, I’ll come back. It’s like the new Botox, Ozempic. I love it. It’s so good,” he raved.
Dubrow’s admission of his plans came after he described himself as “overweight and chubby” thanks to being off the trendy drug.

“I thought, ‘You know what? I kind of want to get my appetite back. The holidays are coming; I want to enjoy myself,’” he recalled.
The “Botched” star added, “You go on vacation, maybe you don’t exercise, you eat too much. It was kind of like, ‘Well, I want to go on a food vacation,’ meaning I want to be able to eat again.”
Despite halting his use of the drug, he had nothing but praises to sing for Ozempic, calling it a “miracle” and “the biggest breakthrough in medical history.”

“Thank god he’s off Ozempic!…
