Dina Manzo’s ex Tommy gets racketeering case dismissed

Dina Manzo’s ex-husband got a slight break in his racketeering case — but it may not last.

Tommy Manzo was accused of hiring a Lucchese crime family member to attack the former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star’s new husband, Dave Cantin, but the case has been dismissed on the grounds that it took too long and violated the federal Speedy Trial Act.

A spokesman for the New Jersey US Attorney’s Office declined to comment.

Feds indicted Tommy, 57, in 2020 after he allegedly hired capo John Perna to beat up Cantin, Dina’s then-boyfriend, in return for a discounted wedding rate at the Manzo family’s catering hall, The Brownstone in Paterson, NJ.

Tommy has been charged with committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering, conspiracy and falsifying and concealing records related to a federal investigation.
