Nicki Minaj Promises Epic ‘Pink Friday’ At Wireless Festival

by UNN Feed
London, UK –

Nicki Minaj has a treat in store for her fans across the pond this summer, promising that her headlining performance at Wireless Festival will be nothing short of “epic.”

The star took a few moments off from her ongoing beef with Megan Thee Stallion on Monday (January 29) to tease her newly-announced headlining performance at the London festival this coming July.

Minaj will perform on the festival’s opening day (Friday, July 12) on a bill that also includes 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Future, Ice Spice and Gunna, with more acts still to be announced.

She took to social media to declare of her set: “This. Will. Be. ICONIC,” when quote-tweeting a message from the festival that said the day of her performance “will now officially be called Pink Friday,” after the rapper’s new album Pink Friday 2.

The festival show will happen less than two months after Nicki’s May 28 show at London’s O2 arena, part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

The trek begins on March 1 in Oakland, California and continues through June 12 in Stockholm, Sweden, with (so far) two summer festival dates to follow — Afronation Portugal in late June and Wireless Festival the following month. Tickets for the tour are available here.

The big festival announcement comes hot on the heels of Nicki’s new song “Big Foot,” aimed directly at Megan Thee Stallion.

Released earlier on Monday, the scathing diss tracks finds Nicki making a number of lurid accusations about the Houston native, spitting: “How you fuck your mother man when she die?/ How you go on Gayle King and can’t cry? Chile, bye/ Big foot, but you still a small fry/ Swearing on your dead mother when you lie.”
