Max B is in good spirits as he looks ahead to his long-awaited release from prison, which could be in the next few months.
The Wave God posted a video to social media earlier this week, where he was seen flashing a huge smile as he gave fans an update on his imminent freedom in a phone call from behind bars.
“Y’all know what it is. Shout out to the boy. The birthday boy just checking in. You already know. Man, I’m feeling good,” he said while rocking an icy Jesus piece chain over his prison clothes.
“It’s almost over. Two more joints, n-gga, I’m sliding out. Max Bigavell. 45, I feel good, look good. I taste good, I smell good, n-gga.”
It’s unclear exactly when the 45-year-old is getting out, but if the “joints” he’s referring to are months, that would be closely in line with French Montana’s recent claim that Max B would be freed from prison in April.

In 2009, Max B was He was charged with conspiracy related to armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and felony murder.
The Harlem-born rapper is alleged to have plotted to rob two men with his stepbrother, Kelvin Leerdam, and ex-girlfriend, Gina Conway, at a Holiday Inn in New Jersey in September 2006. The botched robbery resulted in one of the men being shot dead.
Max had his sentence substantially reduced to 20 years in 2016 after taking a plea deal, before announcing three years later that it had been further cut to 12 years.
