Krayzie Bone has revealed that he has a special treat in store for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony fans, promising that he’s working on securing a Tiny Desk performance for the group.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday (July 5), the Cleveland rapper responded to a fan who wanted to know when he and the rest of the “1st of tha Month” hitmakers would be performing on the popular NPR concert series.
“I’m working on that,” Krayzie Bone responded, giving hope to fans of the pioneering quintet.

Should things all work out and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony do successfully secure a Tiny Desk booking, they’ll be following in the footsteps of some other Hip Hop greats, including Trina, Rakim, and — most recently — Juvenile, whose performance alongside Mannie Fresh last month brought some New Orleans bounce to NPR’s Tiny Desk.
The former Cash Money duo kicked things off with the intro to Juvie’s second Cash Money Records album, 1998’s 400 Degreez, and then went into a couple of other tracks from the multi-platinum LP including its title track and smash hit “Ha.” From there, the pair played “Set It Off,” “Slow Motion,” “Rodeo” and “I Need a Hot Girl.”
With a special appearance from John Batiste, the pair then closed things out with rambunctious renditions of “Project Bitch” and “Back That Azz Up,” which served as the first encore in Tiny Desk history.
As for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, they recently confirmed that they might be interested in a reunion if Dr. Dre gets on board with the idea.
