King Von Fans Hope His Estate Doesn’t ‘Mess Up’ Newly Announced ‘Grandson’ Album

by UNN Feed

King Von’s estate has announced the release date for his upcoming project, Grandson The Album, and fans have shared mixed reactions to the second posthumous project.

The LP is set to arrive on July 14 and the cover art features a black and white photo of King Von’s son rocking his signature fitted hat and O’Block and OTF heavy chains.

There were a myriad of comments flooding the Instagram post with some hoping the project would fare better than last year’s What It Means To Be King album.

“Y’all better not mess this album up,” one fan wrote, while another added: “I hope this not like how they did pop smoke albums. don’t do king like that!”

There were also questions about whether this would be the final installment in the late rapper’s discography. “I’m assuming this is the final album? Hopefully you guys send him off right,” one commenter wrote.

What It Means to Be King was released last March and the posthumous album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 59,000 total album equivalent units in the first week.
