Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures 2’ Misses Release Date

by UNN Feed

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have disappointed fans again as Vultures 2 has failed to land on its expected release date.

Kanye said during his recent interview with Justin Laboy that his second collaborative project with Ty would be released on May 3, but the album has not yet hit streaming services.

After the midnight deadline came and went without Vultures 2, fans flocked to social media to express their disappointment, with one writing: “why I always believe every time he give us a date.”

Others were already skeptical given the lack of a rollout and Kanye’s history of delaying albums: “Are we gonna pretend to be surprised and disappointed again? He’s been doing this same shit since Yandhi lol.”

Someone else saw the funny side of it, joking: “he didn’t say what year.”

The Chicago rap icon initially revealed the May 3 release date in an Instagram DM to who he thought was Baby Keem.

When asked by the user about the status of Vultures 2, Ye responded: “We in the lab now with it. Gonna release in May. May 3rd. When can we go in. Should we do Praise God 2mrw.”

After realizing he was actually messaging a fan account dedicated to the Melodic Blue rapper, he wrote: “Bro. I thought you were Keem.”

Vultures 2 was originally supposed to drop on March 8, roughly a month after the release of the first installment in the trilogy. Kanye didn’t offer an explanation for the delay beyond telling a fan account “we in the lab.”

He previously hinted that the album would not be released on streaming platforms and would instead be sold directly to fans for $20.

Messaging a fan account on Instagram, he said: “We sell albums on Yeezy.com. I got 20 million instagram followers. When 5% of my followers buy an album [t]hat’s 1 million albums sold[.] That’s 300k more than the biggest album last year.
