Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Reveal ‘Vultures’ Album Cover

by UNN Feed

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign‘s reported Vultures cover art origins have been discovered with ties to an 1800s painting.

The pair’s joint project cover surfaced early Monday (December 11) on Playboi Carti’s Instagram Story, and Donda Times discovered the desolate island horizon photo was inspired by a landscape painting crafted by Caspar David Friedrich circa 1835 – 1837.

The morbid painting appears to feature a bird perched on a shovel used to dig up dirt to cover a coffin at a gravesite.

“Visible in the background is Cape Arkona on the island of Rügen, although in a different landscape setting,” a nuanced fan added for context in the comment section. “It is possible that the owl, while undoubtedly a bird of death, here also represents a symbol of wisdom.”

The Kanye-Ty Dolla $ign Vultures album appears to be almost ready for public consumption as the duo were spotted in Miami previewing new music at Art Basel and performing at hotspot nightclub LIV as well on Sunday night (December 10) where Ye declared that the effort will arrive on Friday (December 15).

The list of guests will allegedly feature Young Thug, Future, Playboi Carti, Quavo, Lil Durk, Chris Brown and more.

Kanye also previewed a song that samples the Backstreet Boys’ 1997 hit “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” along with a track containing a shout-out to Young Thug and YSL amid the ongoing RICO case.

The teasers come shortly after Ty Dolla $ign revealed a handwritten tracklist for his and Kanye West’s upcoming project.

The 18-song tracklist includes the recently released single “Vultures,” which features Lil Durk and Bump J, as well as the long-shelved “New Body,” a track from the 2018 Yandhi era that may feature Nicki Minaj.

Other songs include “Fuk Sumn,” “Beg Forgiveness,” “Drunk,” “Gun to My Head” and “Timbo Freestyle,” which Timbaland has confirmed he produced.
