Beyoncé has received her flowers from yet another country music icon, Nancy Sinatra, eldest daughter of Frank Sinatra, following the release of her Cowboy Carter album.
Taking to X/Twitter, Sinatra spoke of the significance of being featured on Queen B’s latest album. She praised the sampling of her 1966 classic, “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’,” calling it possibly the best yet.
“To have a little piece of one of my records in a @Beyonce song is very meaningful to me because I love her,” she wrote, referencing the Cowboy Carter track “Ya Ya.” “She represents what is great about today’s music and I’m delighted to be a tiny part of it.”
She added: “This may be the best sample of ‘Boots’ yet! And the beat goes on… #Beyonce.”
