Bad Bunny shocked fans when he debuted a new buzzcut hairstyle in an album teaser, leaving some to wonder what the shaved hairstyle could mean for his upcoming music.
The rapper, whose real name is Benito Martínez Ocasio, shared the teaser with his Instagram followers Monday, with a caption in Spanish that translates to “the most awaited day for many has arrived…”
In the video, Bad Bunny, 29, is greeted as “Don Benito” for a plot twist, entering celebrity-loved restaurant Carbone while looking dapper in a suit before revealing his bald head.
The “Un Verano Sin Ti” rapper wiped his Instagram clean except for the short clip, which sparked fans to compare this upcoming era and album — called “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” out Friday — to his 2016 trap sounds and style as it was the last time the star cut his luscious locks.
