“Home Alone” star Devin Ratray was reportedly hospitalized “in critical condition,” leading to a delay in his domestic violence trial.
A family member told TMZ Monday that the actor, best known for portraying the older brother of Macaulay Culkin’s character in the iconic Christmas classics, has since been discharged from the hospital.
The source noted that Ratray, 47, is now “back home resting on doctor’s orders.”
They did not elaborate on what caused the hospitalization, or when the alleged health scare occurred.
Jury selection for his domestic violence trial was set to begin in Oklahoma today, however the process was pushed back to February.
It comes more than two years after Ratray was charged with punching and strangling his girlfriend before warning her that she was going to “die.”
The actor was in Oklahoma City in December 2021 with his girlfriend, whose identity was not revealed to the public.
After drinking an entire bottle of wine and taking multiple shots at a steakhouse, he downed at least 10 more shots at a Coyote Ugly bar, per an affidavit obtained by KFOR at the time.
Two fans then approached him asking for an autograph, which caused Ratray to flip out.
His girlfriend proceeded to hand the fans two signed autograph cards without asking for money and return to their hotel room at Hyatt Place Oklahoma City.
According to the affidavit, he returned to the room after her and pushed her on the bed, holding one hand over her mouth while the other pressed down on her throat.
“This is how you die,” Ratray allegedly said as he choked her.
He also punched her in the face and pushed her into a desk, according to the police report, causing multiple injuries.
