Arnold Schwarzenegger has worn a lot of hats over the years, including actor, bodybuilder and politician — but he is also a proud father of five.
Although the “Terminator” star welcomed all of his children while married to Maria Shriver from 1986 to 2011, he only shares four kids with the journalist.
That is because after welcoming Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher, Schwarzenegger secretly became the father of son Joseph with their family’s housekeeper, Mildred Baena.
While the former California governor maintains a close bond with Joseph, the young fitness model does not appear to have a relationship with his half-siblings.
Schwarzenegger spoke candidly about the parenting mistakes he made in Netflix’s “Arnold” documentary in June 2023, saying that he has to “live with” the “pain” he caused.

Maria Shriver
Shriver, a journalist and member of the Kennedy family, met Schwarzenegger in 1977 at a tennis tournament. The duo tied the knot nine years later.
Although the “Kindergarten Cop” star kept his affair with Baena a secret until Joseph was a teenager, he came clean in 2011 during a marriage counseling session — and a “crushed” Shriver subsequently divorced him.
The former couple, who finalized their divorce in 2021, continued amicably coparenting over the years, with Schwarzenegger joking to the Hollywood Reporter in 2023 that they deserved “an Oscar” for their work.

Shriver and Arnold’s eldest child, daughter Katherine, was born in December 1989.
