Warner Bros.‘ upcoming feature starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor is getting ready to bloom with a title and release date.
The studio announced Friday that Flowervale Street, the previously untitled feature from filmmaker David Robert Mitchell, is set to open in Imax and will hit theaters May 16, 2025. Maisy Stella and Christian Convery round out the cast for the movie, which currently is keeping its plot details under wraps.
Flowervale Street hails from Warners and Bad Robot. Mitchell, J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper serve as producers.
Mitchell is known for helming It Follows (2014) and Under the Silver Lake (2018). The Hollywood Reporter reported last fall that Mitchell and It Follows star Maika Monroe are reuniting for They Follow, with Neon introducing the horror hit’s sequel to buyers at AFM.
Hathaway stars opposite Nicholas Galitzine in Michael Showalter’s The Idea of You, which premiered earlier this month at SXSW and hits Prime Video on May 2. The romantic film centers on a single mom developing a relationship with the star of a boy band and is based on the novel by author Robinne Lee.
The actress also stars opposite Jessica Chastain in Benoît Delhomme’s new thriller Mothers’ Instinct.
McGregor’s recent credits include starring opposite real-life wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the historical drama series A Gentleman in Moscow, which began streaming Friday on Paramount+. He also co-starred with daughter Clara McGregor in the drama feature Bleeding Love, which hit theaters last month after debuting at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
