Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin — a descendent of the Vanderbilt railroad fortune frequently known as the “Rebel Heiress” — was rescued from an elevator of her luxury East Side building via body bag by five hunky firemen, we hear, the same day she was on her way to a Guggenheim gala.

A source told us that early Friday morning the beautiful blonde singer-songwriter was headed to a rehearsal for a fashion event at the museum when she found herself trapped in her building’s elevator.

She and Emilio Estefan co-produced the first Latin Ignition fashion show at the museum on Friday night.

Designers included Alvin Valley, Laura Garcia, Nabys Vielman and Cesar Galindo, and there was music by Los Rabanes and DJ Hex Hector.

Among the guests who were regaled with Costin’s wild tale were Jean…
