Gisele Bündchen’s boyfriend Joaquim Valente is spending nights at her Miami home as their romance heats up — and has been her “rock” since her mom’s death, friends say.
The supermodel has been officially dating her jiu-jitsu instructor since June — although, as reported, they were first spotted together more than a year ago.
Valente has frequently been seen leaving Bündchen’s home early in the morning.
And the couple have been seen canoodling in the neighborhood, as a source in the know told us, “They were keeping things quiet – but recently there’s been more PDA, they’re happy to be affectionate with each other in public.”
Indeed, they sealed their romance with a kiss after being spotted embracing on Valentine’s Day.
Rumors of a relationship first swirled when Joaquim was pictured on vacation with Bündchen and her children in Costa Rica just two weeks after her divorce from NFL icon Tom Brady. They have also enjoyed trips to their native Brazil together.
Bündchen, 43, shares custody of Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, with Brady, 46.
She considers them her priority, the source tells , saying, “It’s so hard with divorce, but the kids know they’re together now. They really like Joachim.”
Bündchen’s “angel” mom Vânia Nonnenmacher died on January 28 at age 75 from cancer. And another person who knows the couple said that Valente, 36, has been “her rock.”
It’s not clear what Brady makes of the romance. Despite a brief fling with Irina Shayk, a sports insider who knows Brady told us he’s only focused on “kids and work” at the moment.
“Anything that says he wants to get married again is just made up,” said the insider.
For now, Bündchen is launching her cookbook, “Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul” and is in a promotional drive before its publication next month.
