There are very few things better than a captivating show that transports fans right into the world of their favorite hit series. Luckily for fans of Netflix’s Bridgerton, an experience just like that just opened up in the Big Apple Click inside to see some of the show’s stars who pulled up to check it out!
This past weekend (April 30), legendary television writer, showrunner, producer and director Shonda Rhimes surprised and delighted diehard fans at The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience in New York City. Joining Rhimes at Mediapro Manhattan Studio were Bridgerton franchise actors Golda Roscheuvel (who plays Queen Charlotte), Arsema Thomas (who plays Young Agatha Danbury) and Sam Clemmett (who plays Young Brimsley in the new Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story spinoff show).
The cast participated in the immersive experience by demonstrating their most regal bow to the Queen during the fun and interactive performance. At the end of the evening, the stars were formally announced to the crowd as adoring fans cheered from the dance floor. The performance ended with the Queen dubbing one lucky fan the coveted ‘Diamond of the Ball’ while the Bridgerton stars and attendees applauded with awe. The Bridgerton stars also took a moment to pose for photos with the cast of The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience, where Golda and the Queen went face to face with their iconic skeptical and unamused expressions.
The surprise cast visits came on the heels of the experience’s New York City public opening (on April 27) and just days before the debut of the highly anticipated Bridgerton spinoff series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, on Netflix on May 4. Young Queen Charlotte’s marriage to King George of England sparks an epic love story and transforms high society in this “Bridgerton” universe prequel starring India Amarteifio, Adjoa Andoh and Michelle Fairley.
