Hosted by United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, Community Nights (featuring Homework Diners) offer students and their families a nutritious meal, academic support, and access to a wide variety of community resources.
This unique family engagement experience builds connections between parents, teachers, students, and community resources.
Chefs and local businesses come together to offer free nutritious meals in a family-friendly environment. Come through to enjoy a well-balanced meal that will appeal to all ages. Teachers and volunteer tutors will be on hand to provide homework help in all grade levels and subjects.
The free Community Nights events take place at several local schools and are open to all families with a K-12 student in the surrounding school district. PreK through 8th-grade students must attend with an adult family member.
