2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship

The MLK Association of Asheville & Buncombe County is proud to offer the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship, honoring students who embody Dr. King’s legacy of justice, unity, and peaceful change.

This scholarship will be awarded this year to Buncombe County high school seniors who demonstrate strong character, academic achievement, and a commitment to racial harmony and social justice.

The deadline to apply is May 22, 2025.

• Submit a completed application, resume, essay, transcript, and two letters of recommendation to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship, PO Box 328, Asheville, NC 28802-0328.
