A savvy mum is sharing her best parenting and life hacks online to build a community and help support other families enduring tough financial times.
Self-confessed bargain-hunter Chelsea Turnell, of Pinchbeck, launched her Instagram account @thriftytipsandtripsmum in July and already has more than 3,200 people following her tips and hacks.
Since starting the account, one of the air fryer recipes she shared has been featured in a national newspaper, leading her to secure a weekly slot on radio where she shares more of her thrifty know-how.
Chelsea describes her page, which she currently runs as a hobby, as a one-stop shop for parents.
As well as reviews of family days out, which she enjoys with her three-year-old son, she also talks about money-saving advice, her weekly shop and interviews other parents about their lives.

Chelsea regularly posts pictures and videos on her Instagram page to help others grab a bargain or shop more savvy.
“I review days out and places to go, based on how suitable they are for different ages the facilities and the cost – it’s all paid for by myself,” she added.
