OXFORD — The Oxford Public Library will host a series of virtual workshops in partnership with the Association of Financial Educators on key topics designed to help you get your money right for Financial Literacy Awareness Month. The classes will be held at 6 p.m. every Thursday in April at 49 Great Oak Rd.
The first workshop will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 4. Financial Advisor Noelle Casey will discuss the Basics of Financial Planning including protection from financial risk and estate planning basics.
The second workshop will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 11. Advisor Noelle Casey will discuss Systematic Savings Strategies, Wealth Building Strategies, and Tax Saving Strategies.
The third workshop will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18. Advisor Noelle Casey will cover retirement distribution strategies and understanding the tax treatment of financial vehicles and more.
The final workshop will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25. Advisor Noelle Casey will cover Financial Planning for Business owners where she will discuss Employee Retention Strategies, Tax Deductible Programs, Retirement Programs, Maximize Business for Personal Use and Exit Planning Strategies.
