The son of Melanie Allen and Patrick Bowers, Trevor grew up in the Asheville-Hendersonville area.
“Growing up in Asheville was challenging,” he says. Despite any and all challenges he faced, he gives honor to God and gratitude to his family for having brought him this far.
“The guidance and support I received from family kept me going in the right direction. I made sure to do things that would make my family proud,” Trevor told The Urban News.
During his teen years Trevor’s family moved to Hendersonville, where he discovered in middle and high school that he had what it took to become a student leader.
“I began taking honor classes, joining school clubs such as FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), the theater club, Spanish club, and Junior Leadership Development Program. I was able to graduate with honors and enrolled into Johnson C. Smith University,” he said, where he truly enjoyed his time at the well-known HBCU.
“I must also give credit to the many professors and deans who mentored me through college life,” he added. “My father always told me, ‘a man should always work,’ and that’s what I’m doing. I work hard and look forward to serving my customers some of the best food in town and continuing to build on this legacy,” concluded Trevor.
