Tinsley Mortimer is engaged, hears, and she’s getting married in less than a month.
Sources close to the super-socialite tell us that she’s betrothed to one Robert Bovard, and they’ll be getting hitched in Palm Beach, Fla., on Nov. 11.
Mortimer was the center of the celebrity socialite scene of the early 2000s that also gave us Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Olivia Palermo, among others. She went on to star in her own reality show, “High Society,” and, more recently, Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York City.”
But she’s has been living under the radar in the South for the last few years. (We hear she recently passed up a chance to return to the Bravo airwaves because she prefers life out of the spotlight.)
As a result of her newfound privacy, Bovard is something of mystery. We hear he proposed with an emerald engagement ring, but it’s unclear how long they’ve been dating or even exactly when he went down on one knee.
She recently posted a picture of herself with Bovard and three young children on Instagram Stories with the caption, “Family vacation before the big day!” It’s not clear if the kids are his.
Mortimer was previously married to her fellow Uptown swell Topper Mortimer, but they split in 2010. She was also briefly engaged to an obscure businessman, but that fleeting misadventure ended in 2021.
She appeared on four seasons of “RHONY” and quit in 2019.
A source who’s spoken to Tins since her engagement told , “She’s happy and enjoying the quiet life.” They declined to get into details about the relationship in an attempt to preserve the aforementioned quiet life that she’s enjoying. Don’t expect to see the exclusive wedding snaps in People magazine anytime soon.
Mortimer’s rep declined to comment.
