That was, until Omega announced that it would be rolling out an 11-part collaboration with Swatch. The Omega x Swatch BIOCERAMIC MoonSwatch collection landed on March 26, 2022 in stores and, as expected, sold out everywhere. Then, a year later, the Omega x Swatch Mission to Moonshine Gold landed and, no surprises, sold out.
With a retail price of just $260, Omega x Swatch gave watch lovers and rookies alike the chance to put the legendary Omega Speedmaster Chronograph on their wrist for a fraction of the usual $6350 price tag.
For the majority of us, picking up a $260 Omega wasn’t possible so we defaulted to the next best thing: copping an Omega x Swatch timepiece at resale. It didn’t take long before we were scouring the net for the best deals.
