Fetty Wap’s New Prison Photo Raises Questions About His Religion

Fetty Wap, who is currently behind bars for trafficking drugs, has shared a new photograph of himself while locked up.

On Thursday (August 10), the “Trap Queen” hitmaker took to Instagram to share a shot of himself from inside prison that he captioned: “FREE ZOO #1738.” He posted the same image on his Story, writing: “Real made men double M inna spot.”

Incarcerated since last year, the 32-year-old rapper and singer was charged with possession and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances such as cocaine, heroin and fentanyl, among other things.

Several commenters questioned if Fetty had converted to Islam while in prison,  presumably based on his shorter hair and the beads he is seen wearing around his neck.

“Damn he done turned muslim already,” one user wrote. Another added, “if he did let he have a clear path to god. Niggas find a issue with not believing in god and when they get closer to god yall still have a issue.”

In early June, Fetty Wap was ordered to turn over both his DNA and bank records after he serves his sentence. According to TMZ, he’ll be required to submit his bank records and tax returns once he gets out of prison, in compliance with the requirements set forth by the U.S. Probation Department.

What’s more, he won’t be allowed to open any new bank accounts without prior approval and will also be required to comply with any sort of search and seizure on everything he owns, from houses to cars, if it’s determined that he violated any terms of his conditional release.

In addition to the stringent restrictions on his coins, he will also be required to submit a DNA sample to his probation officer once he gets out of prison, which will go into CODIS (Combined DNA Index System).
