Green made headlines in 2016 when her laser technology cancer treatment reduced tumors in mice without side effects. Dr. Green uses a laser less powerful than a laser pointer to heat the tumor after injecting it with nanoparticles. This causes the tumor to shrink and disappear.
Breast cancer is one of the several types of cancer that Green’s technology has been designed to treat. Her safe and effective treatment for cancer employs the use of laser technology and nanoparticles to target and destroy cancerous cells while preserving the integrity and vitality of healthy cells.
Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green is a STEM pioneer, leader, humanitarian, and entrepreneur who is introducing the world to the next generation of cancer treatments, cancer charities, and affordable healthcare. She is one of the nation’s leading medical physicists and one of the first African American women to earn a PhD in Physics.

You are not alone in your fight against cancer. I stand with you and ask you to stand with me. My nonprofit, the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation, and my cancer treatment, are the products of my personal experience with caring for loved ones with cancer. Despite being unable to help my family at the time of their diagnosis, that same tragedy provided me the courage to commit my life to finding a better way to treat cancer using my scientific background in physics, lasers, and nanotechnology.
Although I am not professionally endorsing anything, I will share my personal regimens and practices. I personally practice eating an alkaline diet like “Eat Right for your Blood Type.” I don’t eat pork, beef, foods with preservatives, high fructose corn syrup or artificial ingredients.
