“Sopranos” alum Joe Pantoliano is the latest celebrity contemplating a move abroad after President Trump’s election.
“I’m so uncomfortable with the nature of what’s happening in our country, and I just want to run for the hills,” he exclusively told at the “Tucci in Italy” premiere earlier this week.
The 73-year-old, who has over 150 different acting credits, added that he’s finding it difficult to focus on his job while watching the news coming out of the current administration.
“It’s hard for me to think about people’s bulls–t like making a TV show,” he explained. “The world is on fire, it’s hard for me to concentrate.”
Pantoliano shared that he and his wife, Nancy Sheppard, had recently returned from Portugal and they are contemplating a move there.
“We just got back,” he said. “We really love it there,” though he expressed concern about the 18-hour power blackout that hit Spain and Portugal last month.
“They just got hit with a cyber attack,” he opined, “and I think that’s just a rehearsal for what will happen here.”
“The Matrix” star stressed that’s why “I keep a lot of cash at home, not a lot but enough to get me going for a couple of weeks,” cautioning any would-be robbers that “it’s buried and there’s no map!”
If Pantoliano does move to Europe, he’ll join a growing list of celebs who have also departed following the election.
