Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger is returning to Maryland.
According to In Touch Weekly, the Grande Dame is scheduled to fly home on Tuesday, January 28, after completing an out-of-state rehab program.
Additionally, In Touch reports that according to court documents, a Maryland judge agreed to postpone Karen’s sentencing in her DUI case from Wednesday, January 29 to February 26.

In December 2024, a jury found the 61-year-old reality star guilty of driving under the influence, negligent driving, and failure to control speed to avoid collision. An additional charge of reckless driving was dismissed.
The criminal charges were brought after Karen crashed her 2017 Maserati into a tree back in March 2024. The police who arrived at the scene spoke to Karen and believed she was under the influence. Officers later arrested Karen and took her to the station for questioning.
Prosecutors charged the Bravo star with driving under the influence, negligently driving a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, endangering property, life, and person,n and various other charges.
It’s also being reported that Huger has hired two new attorneys, David Martella and Barry Helfand, to take over the case ahead of her sentencing.

The attorneys asked that the January 29 sentencing be postponed to allow them time to catch up on the case.
“Karen made the important decision to enter a private recovery program, so was unable to attend the reunion taping today,” the statement read. “She was fully supported in this choice. We stand behind Karen as she embarks on this meaningful journey and are proud of her for taking such a significant step forward in her personal growth.”
