Jennie Garth is mourning the loss of former co-star Shannen Doherty.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram Sunday following the news of Doherty’s death.
Garth shared two images from their onscreen performances as Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh in the popular ’90s teen drama.
“I am still processing my tremendous grief over the loss of my long time friend Shannen, the woman I have often described as one of the strongest people I have ever known,” she began her caption.
“Our connection was real and honest. We were so often pitted against each other but none of that reflected the truth of our real relationship which was one built on mutual respect and admiration.”
Garth, 52, continued by describing Doherty as “courageous, passionate, determined and very loving and generous.”
She added, “I will miss her and will always honor her deeply in my heart and in my memories. My heart breaks for her family and Bowie 💔.”
Tori Spelling also posted a selfie of herself and Doherty to her Instagram Story while admitting she was also still processing her emotions.
“I don’t have outward words yet…but WE knew and that’s what matters,” Spelling, who played Donna Martin in the series, wrote Sunday.
Earlier in the day, Jason Priestley — who portrayed her onscreen twin brother, Brandon Walsh — also honored Doherty, along with other “Beverly Hills, 90210” cast members.
“Shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of my friend Shannen. She was a force of nature and I will miss her. Sending love and light to her family in this dark time,” Priestley, 54, posted on Instagram.
Brian Austin Green, who played David Silver, also shared on social media, “Shan. My sister … you loved me through everything. You were a big part of my understanding of love.”
He continued, “I’ll miss you more than I know how to process right now….
