Melissa Gorga is focusing on her fitness routine.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star claimed she’s the “only one on the cast that does not take Ozempic” during an appearance on Wednesday’s episode of “Sherri.”
“I work out really, really hard. To each their own for everything, but no, I don’t take it,” Gorga told host Sherri Shepherd.
The reality star, who appeared alongside husband Joe Gorga, added that she’s “happy” her co-stars taking the weight loss drug “feel good” and “look good.”
The discussion came up after Shepherd, 57, recalled Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs claiming “most of the cast” have used the Type 2 diabetes medication to shed pounds.
“I don’t know why [people are quiet about it] because there’s no shame in it,” Catania, 53, said on the May 2 episode.
“If a doctor gives it to you, if you’re doing things right, you’re becoming healthier by losing weight, it’s a bunch of great things that come along with this.”
She went on to say she’s at her “high school weight” and has no plans to stop using Ozempic.
“I’m gonna be honest because it’s right,” she added.
“After menopause, it’s so hard to lose weight,” Josephs, 57, commented. “And then you’re shamed for it if you’re heavy.”
Praising the medication, she continued, “It shuts off that food noise, my blood work is great. … [Before Ozempic] I couldn’t do anything. It doesn’t matter if I was eating right, exercising, so I don’t know why there’s any shame in it if it’s helpful to people.”
