Abbott Elementary Season 3

by The Urban News

In season 3, Janine (Quinta Brunson) takes on a new job at the school district, giving her a chance to implement new programs that will improve the lives of both teachers and students.

In this workplace comedy, a group of dedicated, passionate teachers—and a slightly tone-deaf principal—are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life.

Presented as a mockumentary, Abbott Elementary serves eye rolls and loads of laughs alongside current topics and dilemmas.

Season 3 also introduces a special guest star, Cree Summer, as the new librarian. The librarian temporarily butts heads with Barbara (Sheryl Lee Ralph). Barbara doesn’t understand how to use the new technology needed to schedule time for her class to visit the library. This leads to one of the best lines in the episode as Barbara compares the library to an overrated restaurant.
