Kanye West fired YesJulz and fined her almost $8 million over NDA violations earlier this week, and now she’s responded by sharing damaging messages from a senior member of his team.
Ye cut ties with the influencer on Tuesday (March 12), writing on his Instagram Stories: “We have decided to no longer have YesJulz involved in the roll out of Vultures. All the activity on her page and with our fans in the past few days has been unauthorized.”
An email purportedly written by Yeezy chief of staff, noted white supremacist Milo Yiannopoulos, that was sent to YesJulz (real name Julieanna Goddard) also leaked.
“Dear Ms. Goddard, enclosed please find a letter and statement of account from your time with Yeezy. Fines incurred to date as a result of your NDA violations come to $7.7m,” the email read.
“While you were a contractor, I suspended enforcement of this debt. It now falls due. Hassan from the compliance team will reach out with information about payment. Please not that any further violations will accrue more fine.
“Because you are being terminated for cause but also because you forgot to sign your contract your termination is effective immediately.”
A follow-up email from Yiannopolous said: “Obviously, you are fired.”
YesJulz broke her silence on her firing on Wednesday (March 13) and leaked text messages from Yiannopolous in which he called Kanye West’s followers “Down Syndrome megafans” and said they had “developmental disorders.”
Addressing YesJulz’s controversial X Spaces with Kanye fan accounts, in which she brainstormed ideas for a proposed Yeezy app and appeared to try to recruit them to do to unpaid work, Yiannopolous allegedly wrote: “Yews team not thrilled to be associated with this.
“I’m not sure what it’s even about, apparently there was a pretty strong negative response to some Twitter Space or something….
