Christine Brown remembered her stepson Garrison Brown days after his sudden death.
The “Sister Wives” star, 51, took to Instagram Thursday to share a clip of Garrison alongside her and her ex-husband Kroy Brown’s 13-year-old daughter, Truely Brown, writing, “Garrison was a wonderful, caring brother who understood Truely’s need for a hobby and built her a flowerbed.”
“We’ll miss him forever.”
The TLC star — who was previously in a polygynous marriage with Garrison’s parents Kody, 54, and his now ex-wife Janelle Brown, 54, up until November 2021 — also added a series of hashtags, including one that read, “#tellthoseyoulovethatyoulovethem.”
Per TMZ, the 25-year-old was found dead in his Flagstaff, AZ. home from a self-inflicted gunshot on Tuesday.
According to a police report obtained by the outlet, Garrison’s younger brother Gabriel Brown found his sibling dead after their mom urged the 22-year-old to check in on him following concerning text messages.
Janelle was seemingly the last person to be in contact with the National Guard member though the details of their conversation are unknown, TMZ reported.
The night before his body was discovered, Garrison’s roommates reportedly heard a pop sound but didn’t think it was a gunshot, per the outlet.
They also reportedly told authorities he was battling substance abuse issues amid ongoing family issues.
At the time of his death, Garrison was allegedly not in contact with his father and hadn’t been for some time, his mom said, per the outlet.
Janelle and Kody — who split in December 2022 — released a joint statement about their son’s death shortly after his body was found.
