Deberry, a Durham County District Attorney, is running for NC Attorney General. She is one of the nation’s crop of reform prosecutors who deal with violent crime but don’t increase mass incarceration or the school to prison pipeline.
In the interview, she talks about her background, accomplishments, why she is running for AG, and why she believes she is more qualified than her challenger Jeff Jackson.
