Nick Viall hopes “Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner’s new wife, Theresa Nist, asked for a prenup.
“I think it was more than OK for Theresa to request one if she did,” the “Viall Files” podcast host and former “Bachelor” lead, 43, exclusively tells .
“If it’s about love, then it really isn’t about anything else,” he continued. “So, yeah, it would be weird for him to decline the request, wouldn’t it?”
It remains unknown if Turner, 72, and Nist, 70, signed a legal agreement to protect their respective assets prior to exchanging vows in a televised wedding ceremony that aired Jan. 4 on ABC.
However, Viall seems to be more concerned for the bride, as her now-spouse faced a myriad of sordid accusations in a Hollywood Reporter exposé that came out before she received his final rose on the 2023 “Golden Bachelor” finale.
Turner was accused of lying about his past in several aspects. Per his ex, who went by Carolyn to maintain her anonymity, Turner had a live-in girlfriend, whom he dated for three years, shortly after the death of his first wife, Toni.

This claim contradicted the heart-wrenching story Turner told on the senior edition of the dating reality series in which he asserted that he hadn’t been kissed since Toni’s 2017 passing.
Viall previously shaded Turner in a December 2023 interview on ’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, quipping that “we come to find out that the body was barely cold before he started dating” again.
Financially speaking, though, it was reported that the self-proclaimed “restauranteur” owned a Mr. Quick hamburger drive-in franchise in Iowa, but sold it in 1985. In the following decades, he held various sales and management positions in the meat business, according to his LinkedIn page.
