Drew Carey, Sarah Palin, Little Steven and Brian Williams walk into a bar filled with New York cops . . .
Wait, this isn’t the setup for a joke — it really happened at Steven Van Zandt’s ninth annual Little Steven’s Policeman’s Ball at the Mandarin Oriental’s penthouse ballroom.
The former GOP veep candidate was at the event to see her reported beau, Rangers great Ron Duguay, honored.
We exclusively reported that the divorced Alaskan hockey mom and the hockey heartthrob were an unlikely (till you think about it for a sec) item in January 2022.
Said a spy after doing a double-take at the Columbus Circle shindig: “That was Sarah Palin on the dance floor with Ron Duguay.”
Another Bruce Springsteen bandmate besides Steven, Max Weinberg, performed with his orchestra. Gary U.S. Bonds also played.
“The Price Is Right” host Carey emceed the gala — which benefits the Detectives’ Endowment Association’s Widows’ and Children’s Fund and the NYPD’s With Arms Wide Open charity — where honorees also included anchor Williams and WABC’s Sid Rosenberg.
While in town, Palin and Duguay also took in a Rangers game at MSG, we hear, where the pol wore the home team’s jersey and was eating popcorn.
They also dined at Rolf’s German Restaurant near Gramercy Park, and were hanging with a crew that included celeb chef Andrew Molen and former Yankee Jeff Nelson.
Also at the Little Steven event were retired NYPD big Mike Shea, former Commissioner Keechant Sewell, DEA president Paul DiGiacamo and ex-Rangers coach Mike Keenan.
