Eddie Murphy stars in this new holiday comedy adventure about a neighborhood Christmas decorating competition.
Candy Cane Lane is packed full of Christmas magic, fun, and laughter with Eddie Murphy leading us through the ups and downs of the holiday season. Murphy’s character, Chris, has just been laid off, his son is not doing well in math class, and his wife is up for a promotion. Although Chris has promised to take his youngest girl, Holly, to school, they head off to shop for more holiday decorations instead, setting off the entire adventure.
After Chris inadvertently makes a deal with a mischievous elf to better his chances of winning, she casts a magic spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life and wreaks havoc on the whole town.
At the risk of ruining the holidays for his family, Chris, his wife Carol, and their three children must race against the clock to break Pepper’s spell. As the family uses their various skills to battle deviously magical characters, they manage to save Christmas for everyone.
