Building a home gym can seem like a mammoth (and expensive) task, but it doesn’t have to be. All you need are a few versatile items to upgrade your gym-free training set-up—trust me, I’ve done it.
This time last year I used Black Friday discounts to lay the foundations for my very own home gym. I spent less than $360 thanks to some eye-wateringly good reductions, and had everything delivered the next day courtesy of Amazon Prime. By Cyber Monday, I was ready to train.

You can do a few different exercises with it too, including roller pikes, ab rollouts and balance push-ups, so I think it’s a great choice to add to your home gym arsenal.
3. Exercise bike
Yes, you can run or walk to boost your cardio fitness. But I’m a bit of a wimp in wet weather, so I like to have an indoor option when the elements take a turn.
The YOSUDA Indoor Cycling Bike is a top budget-friendly option, even at full price, scoring a healthy four out of five stars when we…
