A music producer is suing Chris Brown for allegedly assaulting him at a London nightclub earlier this year.
In court documents obtained by , plaintiff Amadou “Abe” Diaw claims the singer “inflicted severe and lasting injuries” on him after “beating him over the head” with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila in February at the Tape London nightclub.
The “Under the Influence” hitmaker then allegedly proceeded to “ruthlessly stomp on” Diaw and kick him in the back of the neck, knocking him unconscious for 30 seconds.
The “crushing blows” allegedly sent the Onegodmusic executive to the hospital with “lacerations on his head and torn ligaments in his leg.”
Diaw is also claiming that after the incident, Brown, 34, partook in “defamatory conduct by spreading false rumors” about him and his clients, including labeling him as a thief in order to hurt his professional relationships.
Diaw’s lawsuit says his physical injuries may be permanent and that he allegedly “suffered serious and
permanent emotional distress and trauma.”
Diaw is seeking damages and requests a trial by jury.

However, this is not the Grammy winner’s first run-in with the law.
He infamously beat Rihanna during their relationship in 2009, leaving her in the hospital with contusions and swelling on her face.

He was eventually given five years probation and 180 days of community labor after pleading guilty to the assault.
Brown later confirmed he forgave himself for the assault in 2013, but many fans are still angry with him over the incident more than a decade later.
He responded to the continued hate he receives for the “mistake” earlier this year by telling anyone who has a problem with him to kiss his “whole entire a–.”
